Moon River Inn is located in the Shu-He Ancient Town of Lijiang. The town has been famous for its nearby Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the ethnic minorities (the Na-xi people). Since its direct adjacency to the snow mountain, the melted snow becomes the water in the canals in the ancient town. When wondering the town, one could enjoy waking on the ancient cobble streets, having the clear canals lacing through out the town, while immersing oneself in this unique cultures which has been there thousands of years.

If you get tired of following a tour guide, letting your tour guide decide where to go, or where to buy, and prefer to have a more in depth travel experience, Moon River Resort provides various travel packages, which are specially designed for smaller travel groups, for travelers to choose from. Services include car rental (with a driver), local travel planning, arranging tour guides (upon request)…etc. Please note that in our travel packages, we will not take you to stores to buy souvenirs in order to ensure the quality of traveling. (If you really want to buy some gifts back home, you can ask our staff for the info.)

Our hotel is modified from an existing Na-Xi housing. The design concept is to keep the characteristic of the culture, but at the same time, by adding modern facility makes each room more comfortable and more fitted for modern usage. All rooms are centered on our public facilities, which are our music bar, lounge area, and a restaurant.
